Lady In Red

So on Saturday, Charles dyed my hair for me! I got Ruby Red, a super bright red that has to be the best colour ever! The weather was perfect so we decided to dye my hair outside :)

We went to see the Book of Mormon, and I had to dress up, and I had the perfect red dress... so!

The New Too Faced Neutral Eyes Shadow Palette!

So here is the new Too Faced Natural Eyes Shadow Palette! After complaints about gritty pigments, Too Faced reformulated a couple of their colours to make them better quality. I wasn't too sure about Too Faced after buying their Chocolate Bar Palette and disliking it, but I bought this palette for a friend of mine for her bridal shower after seeing how beautiful it was (and she's a Too Faced fan!) and realised I wanted one for myself!

VIB Sale: What I'm Getting

So I'm sure you all have heard about the Sephora BI sale! For VIB Rouge, the sale started on the 30th, but I believe the VIB and BI sale will also be starting very soon! 

I've already placed my order, and it should be coming in soon! I'm super excited because I'll be trying a couple new things!

To be honest, my basket was entirely lipsticks. I should've stocked up on more foundation or something of the sort but I just wanted to play with new things.

Boyfriend Did My Makeup!

So I was entering a contest where "someone else" does your makeup. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enter in time. We had it done today but it was due yesterday. I don't want my boyfriend's hard work going to waste, so I figured I'd show off his masterpiece here.

Excuse the lag in updates! Unfortunately, this semester has been a bit more difficult than previous semesters. I'm taking a few larger workload courses, but I feel as if I have a good control on everything now, so! On to makeup :)

FOTD: Winter Golds

I got some makeup samples from Shiro Cosmetics!! :) They're so pretty, but they're loose pigments, which is new for me. I've only really worked with this sort of thing if my pressed shadow broke! I bought several samples, and then got two full-sized Tardis shadow colours.

Lorac Pro vs Laura Mercier Artist's Palette Review

When owning several palettes, you just tend to reach for one. I actually only have three palettes. The two shown above and the Naked 1 palette. I love the ones I have and am so pleased. I had the Vice 2 palette for a little while but found that I never really reached for it, and I hadn't even touched several of the colours! So I got to swap it for a couple Urban Decay Revolution lipsticks that will be coming in within the next couple weeks :) 

In any case, these two palettes are the ones I reach for, leaving my poor Naked palette by its lonesome (except for when I reach for it for Half Baked. I might end up buying just the single eyeshadow after I use up this one since it's the main shade I go for on that palette!)

It's a beautiful day today! I got to pull out my favourite sweater coat that I got from my dad. It's super warm and perfect for this 40-50 degree weather here.
